I’ve been blogging for more than 15 years, and somewhere along the way I’ve collected quite the assortment of job titles.

Blogger. Writer. Marketer. Stylist. Pinterest strategist. Content creator. Business owner. Professional starter-of-things.

I’ve built blogs, lost blogs, rebuilt blogs, changed direction, launched businesses, created products, worked with brands and had more “Wait… I’ve got an idea!” moments than I could possibly count.

And I’ve learned something important:

There isn’t one correct way to build a creative business.

We’re going to talk about the stuff that actually happens when you’re building something.

Sometimes you try something, learn a ridiculous amount from it and move on to the next idea considerably smarter than when you started.

I’m not writing from some imaginary penthouse office while telling you that waking up at 4:37am and drinking celery juice will make you a millionaire.

I’m building too.
